Stayed at Kings Cross Budget Rooms twice. 3 minute walk from Kings Cross and ideal for gigs at the Scala. 5 minute walk from Euston, ideal for weekend stay to put your head down. Would use again

Very basic and 2 minute walk from Kings Cross.

Hi the hostel was very convenient for our early morning stay, however, I believe the sprinkler system was not functioning properly.

Very clean but could do with up dating shower rooms

This hotel was very basic. The walls were paper thin. The door didn't fit properly on the room. The bed creaked if you so much as moved your arm and the rumble of the underground kept me awake all night. One good thing is the staff seemed very friendly although not particularly professional.

Very basic, only spent 6 hours in room prior to catching early train. The sheets were clean and bed quite comfortable

On arrival we were shocked at the shabbiness of the place and almost left. Redecoration and some attention to faults in doors that don't close or have been forced open at some time is the least of the problems. The staff were friendly and polite no complaints there and on the whole the guest house was quiet at night. The bedding was clean and did get changed so once again no issues there. It is as you'd expect only a place to sleep and the price reflects that. I would stay there again on a budget but would hope someoone had at least decorated and made it look presentable and put in new shower trays and blocked the gap in the toilet door where everyone can see you

It was fine for overnight stop, great location and nice people

Up sides: rooms were spotlessly clean, warm, the place felt safe and very cheap. Downside, no hot water. Bargain for the price
