Staff at King Solomon Hotel were friendly and helpful. Building undergoing renovation. Bed comfortable and room and bathroom clean

I only stayed one night at this hotel in London and arrived late and left early, but overall my general impression was quite favourable. The reception staff were competent and friendly, and the place was clean but the decor had a tired look and is clearly over due for some new wallpaper or a new coat of paint. The facilities in the room were perfectly adequate with a good clean bed, fresh towels, a TV which for some reason couldn't be tuned to BBC 1!! The breakfast was a continental affair but the salad offered alongside the usual breads, juices, etc was surprisingly good. The rate charged was good value for money in my opinion and I would book King Solomon Hotel London again without question

The hotel was nice. We arrived early as we had to be at a ceremony for 3pm which meant we had to get changed and leave the hotel at 2pm. The usual check in time was 2pm but they said they would get the rooms ready early so that we could get changed before we had to go. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy but very hot although I prefer this to being cold and the shower was lovely. Basic but clean tidy and comfortable

Pleasant staff, food very good, noisy creaking floorboards from room above and no plug in washbasin. Would stay again though

Accommodation is basic and small but clean. Breakfast was good but basic again. No lift in building, so can be hard work getting luggage up to 2nd floor up a narrow staircase. Handy to public transport

Nice area. King Solomon Hotel London was ok. The only issue was being awoken by water streaming on to the bed from a leak in the shower from the room above. The issue was dealt with well via a part refund

I recommend this nice small hotel in perfect location near bus and tube station. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Just corridors should be imroved (new carpets and lighter colours).
