Holiday Inn London Kensington Reviews page 2
Based on 12 Hotel ReviewsClean, tidy, good service, could not fault it for the price, will definitely stay there again
Really enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep in a clean, fresh, quiet room. My room was small, but it had everything I needed. The spa is an excellent facility, perfect for a morning swim before tackling London.
5 friends and I stayed for one night. We would never return. This hotel does not deserve a 4* rating. One friend was traumatised by being trapped for 10 minutes, as room 534 toilet door jammed shut, and we had to wait for a maintenance guy to come and physically ram it open. In 2 rooms we could not lock the door and the safety chains were broken. Another room the window would not open. Unable to use certain sockets as the switches were jammed. Stained carpets, shabby decor, smelly bathrooms. The hotel is in need of a revamp!!! We received a 25% reduction for each room by the Duty Manager, but our trip was spoilt.
Good if you're a dwarf - the room size is miniscule - if there’s 2 of you one will have to leave the room while the other unpacks. Good if you don't mind paying an extra 5 pounds per person to use the pool. Good if you're happy with a very mediocre hotel. This website doesn't seem to print bad reviews?
My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at the Kensington Close hotel and it was brilliant! We thought we were at the wrong hotel at first on account of it looking so expensive. The rooms were designed well with lots of extras and the bathroom (with bath) was behind a huge mirror which slid across sideways! In the morning we had a massive buffet breakfast with everything you could possibly want to eat at breakfast available. The concierge were very helpful and found me some plasters and there is also a hotel bar. I would definitely recommend booking the Kensington Close hotel as it is superb
Kensington Close Hotel is a lovely hotel with a brilliant location!
I thought the Kensington Close hotel was over-priced. I was expecting more...
