Arsenal Tavern Backpackers Hostel Reviews page 2
Based on 14 Hotel ReviewsFor the price Arsenal Tavern Backpackers was excellent. Everything that could be done to make it as nice as possible was done. The staff was very helpful. I was on the top floor and it was pretty warm. I slept well and left to catch a plane before the continental breakfast was served. There is not a lot to do in that particular area but in just a few tube stops I found everything that I would have wanted
Excellent value for money London accommodation and in an ideal location for ease of access to central London and a real bonus being in the heart of Gunners territory
Great place, no complaints at all. Easy going atmosphere. Decent area, right near Finsbury Park and Arsenal's ground. All in all, I'd recommend Arsenal Tavern Backpackers Hostel any time for anybody
I found this London hostel one of the most friendly of places I've stayed at. People, staff, security and the food that is available at Arsenal Tavern Backpackers Hostel is very good. Highly recommended.
In itself, for the price the hotel is good quality. Rooms and environment were clean and professional, as were the staff. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but then again at the price, the fact it was added was a welcome bonus. Major problem however was the temperature of the room at night. No means of regulating the heating. Add that to about 9 people sleeping in the same space, it meant that I was unable to sleep very well during either of my two nights staying there. Also, being a pretty large guy, i had difficulty getting into my middle bunk without discomfort. Otherwise, good location (just a short walk from Finsbury Park underground, which in turn was not too far from London Euston and the centre of London), good surrounding amenities (the Mexican restaurant a few shops up was fantastic). Would book Arsenal Tavern Backpackers Hostel if nothing else for the convenience and price.
Arsenal Tavern was clean, friendly and it was easy to get around London. The sports bar downstairs was fine to hang out in and the drinks cheap :)
Arsenal Tavern Backpackers Hostel is by far the best hostel in London for the price! What really makes it are the amazing staff. Everyone is so nice and tries to make every day interesting (movie nights, pool tournaments, etc.). The location seems out of the way but there are great kebab places and it is so close to the Finsbury stop which gets you anywhere on the Piccadilly Line quickly. And the pizza is good. All around favourite for sure
Best hostel I have stayed at and very good price. Great staff and great common area. Very clean. Bring your own sheets if you are picky. The free internet sucks but it makes you go find interesting places in London with internet. Clean bathrooms. Safe. Great kebab place down the road (Dilara). I highly recommend this hostel
This hostel is in a gr8 location, and has a very nice common area. Rooms were clean and breakfast was basic, but not bad. The staff were friendly too, and happy to help
