International House London Reviews page 5
Based on 51 Hotel ReviewsFor the price it was a comfortable stay. Room was clean and quiet and although we only had shared toilet and shower facilities they were right next to our room and were clean and well kept. On the day of checking out our train wasn't till 4 o'clock so we still had time to do more sightseeing and was very grateful that the man at reception let us leave our bags with him whilst we did little sightseeing. Great location and great value for money
Staff were nice and helpful (we could leave our baggage at the reception on the last day, we got power adapters any time we needed), room was cleaned every day. It is in a very good place in London (easy to reach with tube and with night bus as well). I’ve got nothing to complain about).
Localization: 4/5, Staff: 5/5, Rooms: 2/5 (single room seems to be converted to double room), Cleanliness: 5/5
Very well Located – A good departure point for visitors to London for a reasonable price. The toilets and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is really well equipped. Calm atmosphere. Simple room and building.
You get what you pay for which is a room for the night and a place to rest your head. It was clean and you were provided with adequate towels, bedding and (surprisingly) toiletries. The staff are friendly but know nothing about the local area, taxis, transport etc so just don’t ask. Get in, pay your cash and get going. I would stay again if were to be in South London again. Not the best location for anyone sending a lot of time in North London-local station Lambeth North.
Dorm rooms are very sparse, but for the cost it's a good option for a short stay. Appreciated the free WiFi and friendly staff.
Good location only 10 minutes walk from Waterloo station. Although dated both the room and shared bathroom were clean. I had a room on the 8th floor and the view was excellent - you could see the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. The only major drawback was the noise coming from the busy road below, which the windows didn't fully block out. The bed wasn't the best but I guess you get what you pay for.
Do not venture anywhere near this dreadful place..minute room, dirty windows, curtains hanging off the windows, dirty carpet ,scratched furniture, a bed like a hardboard..obviously I did not stay..my inexpensive trip to London turned into a very expensive couple of days, as I had to get out of this monstrous place and book into regular budget accommodation.
Was clean, is good for a short stay and was better then expected.
The place was really nice. It is very well located, next to Waterloo Station so next to the very centre of London. It was very clean and it was nice to find clean sheets and towels.
