Grove Hill Hotel Reviews page 6
Based on 255 Hotel ReviewsStayed at the Grove Hill Hotel Friday to Sunday for our weekend in London and would recommend. Clean, comfortable and the breakfasts are spot on. Very friendly staff
Good accommodation, room clean, great breakfast, cannot fault this place, would book there again.
The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. The TV worked perfectly. The location is great because it’s close to many services such as restaurants, pubs, banks, shops, buses and underground stations. The British breakfasts were delicious. Although the internet wasn’t working at that time, I will definitely stay at this hotel when I need it and recommend it to my friends and family when they visit London. The manager was very nice and professional. Thanks Grove Hill Hotel for those two great nights!
You get what you pay for and since I was looking for something cheap I was perfectly satisfied with the Grove Hill Hotel. It's worn but tidy. The cupboard under the basin is in an advanced state of decay. Secondly, the details of times of breakfast and room service, shown on the notice inside the door, are not accurate. I was perfectly willing to vacate my room at 11, as instructed, not so happy to be turfed out at 10:10 because it suited the staff. However, I wouldn't want to be accused of nit-picking. On the whole it was a perfectly adequate stay.
Good and friendly welcome, good clean room and a nice breakfast, although the parking was a bit limited but we did manage to find a space.
Grove Hill Hotel is a warm very welcoming Hotel based in South Woodford, London. The rooms vary depending on price If you want all the creature comforts you pay more, but if you want cheaper rooms because your on a budget then clean basic room is what you get. Its definitely value for money depending on what you want. I paid for a basic room this week and got exactly that and no en suite... I have stayed many times at the Grove Hill Hotel and tried different rooms at differing rates, whatever you decide breakfast is included. The high street has many eating places from Italian restaurants to the local Pub, but I recommend the Indian Restaurant Curry Leaf, then Bella Naples and Purple Thai all a short walk from each other..
Very comfortable stay, no frills basic accommodation, everything you need, clean & tidy and a good breakfast. Would book to stay again.
I was happy with my stay. Room was warm and cosy. I was sad that I couldn't have my breakfast though as I was told on arrival at 1pm on Saturday that if I wanted breakfast i would have to say then n there! And that breakfast was between 7 and 8am!!! On a Sunday morning !!! Who's having breakfast at 7am on a Sunday morning? Never came across this before and felt it was designed that way to avoid serving breakfast. Anyway, i had a comfortable stay and slept well despite curtains that don not keep out the glaring sunlight but I find this a problem everywhere practically in the UK !
We were always met with a warm smile and the room was clean, comfortable and warm. It was good to have breakfast included. A good price too with no problems with parking.
I stayed at Grove Hill Hotel while visiting my son in London; my parents stayed also. We had a lovely time and the hotel was very good. Very clean, comfortable rooms, staff were welcoming and friendly and breakfast was really good, full English and piping hot. It was excellent value for money and I will definitely be booking to stay there again when I next visit.
