Glendale Hyde Park Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 51 Hotel ReviewsClean and compact room Glendale Hde Park Hotel but think the heater was non fuctional. But breakfast made up for it much better than expected
We were in London for the night as we had an early appointment the following day. We were looking for somewhere reasonably priced and comfortable. The Glendale Hyde Park Hotel was both reasonably priced and comfortable with a good selection on the continental breakfast
The room was quite clean at Glendale Hyde Park Hotel, would be better if it's a proper double bed. Nice breakfast
Reception open 24 hours at Glendale Hyde Park Hotel. Clean. Breakfast help-yourself cornflakes, tinned fruit, coffee/ tea, boiled eggs, ham cheese, bread/ toast. Very satisfactory. Bed fine, we slept well. But basement room with no window and wet room shower drained slowly. Everthing worked, just we were not keen on no window
I chose the Glendale Hyde Park hotel because of its location and the low price. As I had expected, the room was fairly small and relatively basic. However, it was spotlessly clean, with some nice touches. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was, given the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely book this hotel again for a one night stay for work.
Staff at Glendale Hyde Park Hotel were very kind and helpful. Could be noisy when other residents banged the doors and when water was used. Overall a nice enough place as only used the room for sleeping.
Very good value for what I paid. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bedroom was clean with a clean en-suite. The decor in the corridors was tired but I wasn't sleeping there so it didn't bother me. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations with eggs, cereal, ham, cheese, toast and juice/coffee. A great location and I will book Glendale Hyde Park Hotel again
My room was tiny and cramped and the window was stuck open a crack so it got quite cold at night. It wasn’t particularly clean either, especially the carpets, so I was worried that maybe the sheets weren’t clean although they looked like they’d been washed. The whole place could do with some TLC. But it was cheap. I didn’t want to pay for wifi when I could as easily go to a café which would have a nicer environment and free internet. But for a cheap place to stay in a good location it was fine. The price was really the selling point for me. Can’t guarantee that I’d stay again but I wouldn’t rule it out either
We stayed at Glendale Hyde Park for four nights and had a very good experience. The rooms were small but very clean and the staff was very nice
Glendale Hyde Park Hotel is satisfactory for very short stays, but to spend a week there the room given lacked space and at least one bedside table. In my opinion if the cupboard had been placed to face the bed one would have easily extended space, and at least a working top near the mirror would increase space where one can be able to put his things without sacrificing space for luggage. The breakfast room is a little restricted, but I did not mind that very much. Another observation would be that had the shower mixer been placed opposite the shower door, entering and exiting the shower would not have been that restrictive
