The location is great. it is close to the metro. The receptionist were welcoming and very helpful to keep our luggages the whole day before having the room and after leaving the room. The breakfast was really nice and they really cook scrambled eggs, omelette. The hotel has a real lack of hygiene. The room was not clean, lots of dust and the sheets were snaged. The chair of the eating room are very dirty, you can see all stains.

Charming place and fantastic location. Served its purpose for one night. However, the room we had was extremely tired and in need of a serious makeover. Shabby beds, carpet, (cracked) walls and paintwork. Curtains hanging off the rail, and towel rail obviously missing in bathroom. Sink basin taps dripped all night. Very clean, comfortable and spacious though. Breakfast choice unexpected and very good, but coffee was cold. Would love to stay there again, if only it was spruced up a bit. Good value for money all the same.

Rooms are small, unclean (slept with her clothes on), no hot water, dark and gloomy, was defintely a rotten experience.

Stuck for time couldn't find anywhere else, but definitely would not stay there again

Fitzroy Hotel was perfect for location, two mins to tube station. Room was clean. Only complaint I had was in Breakfast room the chairs had stained seats which could easily be covered. I found they put you off your breakfast. All in all though ok for what was paid

So we got to the hotel early Eve after travelling most of the day, and it looked OK from the outside. Once entering our rooms we were mortified . A pest control box was on the floor in view open. Lights not working, light bulbs out. No bed linen. Dirty and ripped carpets. Sockets live and away from the wall wires hanging off the wall cut. Definitely would not recommend at all unless the hotel has a lot of tlc.

This hotel needs a serious makeover as it is tired and grubby with worn carpets, mal-functioning curtains, hot taps, lack of pillows, teaspoons, and a hair dryer with a continental plug!. There was no working extractor fan in the bathroom and an extremely sad shower. We did not get value for money and although the staff were pleasant, breakfast adequate, the decor and amenities were dire. It was our yearly "London Treat" and sadly we were very disappointed.

Fitzroy Hotel is in a great central location. Friendly staff. Clean room but slightly faded

Really pleased with free internet in my room so I can work at home. I sleep very very well. Bathroom is clean though basic and room is comfortable though small. I like this place, and it is a very good location. Good breakfast. I will stay again

A typical London B and B, made for short stays with lots of planned activities. Breakfast was very good, service was very friendly. A lack of cleanliness was very evident. If you spend most of your time discovering London, this is the place to stay
