Stayed for a week, pleasantly surprised, better than we expected, has been recently renovated with good quality fittings, lift a bit small, only room for 2 people, broke down while we were there but were assured that a new one would be installed soon, very pleasant staff and breakfast was ample and good, rooms small but adequate, typical of UK, good value, we could see Hyde Park from our window and only minutes from train or bus.
Brilliant, no frills hotel but we were not told about the ongoing refurbishment when we booked which was a little alarming to see wires hanging out the walls near our rooms!! Overall when the works finished we would probably use this hotel again.
