Devoncove Hotel Glasgow Reviews page 4
Based on 40 Hotel ReviewsOnly there for 3 days and had to change room 2 times. First room there was actually someone still in it, second room shower not working, third room TV not working took all day to get someone to come and repair the cable. Won't stay there again, place is nice enough but seems to be run without adequate supervision
Very clean & comfortable room, good bathroom facilities. Breakfast well prepared & cooked (hot)
I returned from this hotel yesterday & the only thing that lets it down is the staff well most of them any way. Food was fine, a normal hot cooked breakfast, fruit, toast, selection of cereals and juices & teas and coffees. The room was spacious and cleaned every day. I would stay here again but their staff need to learn customer service! Close to the centre of town approx 4 pound in a taxi
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great value and great location for central Glasgow.
Good location, a short taxi to the centre. Nice room, clean and warm. Friendly staff and a good breakfast but a bit too early if you've been clubbing the night before. Good value for money. Would go back again.
Stayed here on a Saturday night, hotel clean and warm and of the same sort of standard as a travel inn - what more do you need, staff friendly and helpful, well worth the money, only thing disappointing was breakfast finishing at 9.30am, on a night out the previous night this was just way too early and we missed it oh and there are apparently no bath plugs in the whole of the hotel? Apart from this it was great!
Overall stay was good, staff could have been a bit friendlier and room was cold.
There were several things wrong with the room but staff were keen for us to tell them and I'd hope everything would be put right by now. It looked like there were renovations being undertaken but it left the tables near the windows in the dining room particularly cold. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Good central location.
Has to be the worst hotel that I have been to! To start with the carpark is more like a back alley with a small wall to define the park area, it has three CCTV cameras, two of which were pointing straight up into the sky! Once inside the receptionist was able to complete the booking and provided a key card to my room. Once at the room we had been given a rather grotty double room which did not look very clean at all and had electrical problems and loose carpet grip causing a trip hazard. I complained to the girl at reception about the room who advised "what do you expect for £45.00 a night", So I asked for the booking to be cancelled and ill find another hotel. Advised that I would be charged one night’s rate as I have cancelled without giving them 24 Hours notice, eventually I was offered to move to another room which I accepted. In the second room which again was a double room and smaller than the first. This room was filthy the bed linen had stains over them.
One of the worst hotels I have stayed in with very rude staff and in serious need of refurbishment.
