Countryside Hotel London Reviews page 2
Based on 19 Hotel ReviewsRough and ready but clean and staff very helpful
Friendly reception, quiet environment, needs a little work on the breakfast
This is good value accommodation in the east end of London. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended to those who are on a budget
Everything went well except for the fact that the room was a bit noisy and that there was no wireless Internet in the room
Good London accomodation for the price, short walking distance from the train station, clean room. The only minus would be not enough cups, plates and cutlery in the kitchen and too small toaster for the amount of people wanting to eat breakfast at the same time
Countryside Hotel London was ok, not the best I have stayed in but not the worst either. Could do with a good lick of paint but we thought it was very good value for money for a one night stay in London to go to a concert
In view of the cheap price at this location (within easy reach of central London), this is very basic accommodation and was acceptable, and no worse than could be expected. This is OK for anyone visiting London who is more bothered about keeping costs down than the standard of accommodation. Including the walk to Forest Gate railway station, you could be in London inside 20 minutes, £4.50 peak day return. I would probably use this hotel again if looking for convenience at a low price. I slept OK, which is the main thing. Usual basics were there: wardrobe, sink, portable TV, towells, tea/coffee/milk. Staff were polite, with front desk attended 24 hours. On the minus side: generally rather shabby, curtain too narrow for window, aerial broken on TV (but decent reception could be found by positioning it), a bit noisy, At breakfast a couple more choices of cereal would have been good. As I say, I would consider again, for a bed for the night.
Decent place to stay. Easy to get to. I got a free upgrade which was good. Downside was poor mattress and noise from the road
Friendly helpful staff, rooms are practical. Countryside Hotel is OK
Booked a quad room for 4 of us, big enough room, clean and tidy. Toilet light was not working though. But it was fixed right away once it was reported. Important thing is free parking in front of the hotel, 10-15 minutes walk though to the nearest tube, or you can catch a bus in front of the hotel. In general we are satisfied with the hotel considering the cheap price
