Colliers Hotel Reviews page 3
Based on 31 Hotel ReviewsIt was okay considering the price although it would have been nice to have soap in the room as you had to go outside to use the shower/toilet.
I booked a single room with a shared bathroom but was given a free upgrade to a double room with an en suite bathroom. I was expecting the worst due to the price I paid but the bed was clean and comfortable and so was the room and bathroom. I was very pleased with the efforts made by the staff on the cleaning. The bathroom was a moulded plastic affair, similar to those you get in caravans but it was practical, very clean and it worked. I would highly recommend if you are looking for budget accommodation. I couldn't stay for the breakfast so cannot comment.
A strange experience, I arrived at the hotel only to be taken to another hotel in a different street. The room I was given was by itself in the basement and the nearest toliet/shower was on the third floor of the main building! The room itself was extremely basic with a sink, bed and wardrobe and a tiny TV that only showed 3 channels in poor quality. I had to be careful at times not to bang my head on the ceiling! The room was noisy as anyone walking overhead could be heard and also the noise from the street. I only paid £20 for the room but even so, I was expecting a little better than this. The only reason not to give this a 1/5 is that the breakfast was quite nice.
Easy check in and friendly staff, room was small but very clean and warm with lots of towels etc. A kettle in the room would have been good. Breakfast was very nice with do it yourself toast and/or cereals, plenty of hot water for tea/coffee, fresh orange juice and lots of jam selection and very clean. The hotel was a short walk from Victoria station and houses of Parliament and very convenient for all the major sights of London
This is probably the worse hotel I've ever been to. Small room, window doesn't close, you can hear every breath of your neighbours, lousy breakfast, only one toilet downstairs. I recommend to spend five more on a decent hotel!
Does what it says on the tin! i.e. it’s cheap for a nights stay so it’s cheap looking, but at the end of the day we wanted to stay in Soho and not spend and we got what we needed - a room with a bed with clean sheets. One odd thing though we got walked out of the Colliers building and walked a few 100 yards up the road to their other place...which had no signs outside and just looked residential and this is where our room was not actually in Colliers.
Good location, quiet, clean rooms, friendly staff, but inconvenient access to showers/toilets, small and cramped
Cheap, and you get what you pay for. Nice people, but property old, rundown and not very clean
Had a great stay - really clean, good area and nice staff. All round, a good deal.
Many thanks to the hotel for letting us leave our luggage for the day after we checked out! On that, they were 10/10. However, they need to take some care of the rooms (plumbing especially) hence the overall rating of 7/10.
