For 40 quid that close to Paddington, it's hardly going to be luxury. Convenient, with pleasant desk staff. Bathroom is tiny but it's better than sharing. Would stay there again as a single traveller on a tight budget

I booked the place for my parents. On the arrival I went with them to check the place out. The reception was closed, with a note back in 5. We waited about 20minutes! The staff was really nice. The room, very small, not even space to move around. The bed wasn't a double, but one and half! Nice was the little balcony

We stayed in a family room, the room was quite crowded with 1 double and 2 singles. The bathroom was a good size. Bedding was clean so were towels. My daughter counted 54 steps up to room but as we only stayed 1 night this was no problem, it would be impossible to put in a lift as there would not be enough room! What the Classic Hotel lacked in facilities it made up for with ever smiling staff who are always willing to help

This is definitely a 2* or less hotel. Grubby and unkempt looking. In need of extensive re-decoration. Not even a smoke alarm in the bedroom. During our 3 days took breakfast once - dirty dishes! If I hadn't paid up front I'd have moved to another hotel. Will not be returning

Staff were helpful, breakfast was good, but the hotel itself is extremely run down. As soon as we got there we wanted to leave. No wonder the staff kept harrassing us for payment in full!

When I got to the hotel they gave us two single beds. Never again would I go there, tiles were coming off the bathroom, mould all over the bedroom. We didn't even stay there in the end

Very basic room, unfortunately we were on the top floor which was very hot although a fan in the room was provided. Not much space to put belongings had to use the chair. Yet we were only there for 2 nights so it was managable. The bathroom is the smallest i have ever seen by far! I'm only tiny and believe me it was a tight squeeze. Very clean however and would make a short stay there again due to great location and reception staff were helpful.
