I did not feel the hotel staff were helpful or understanding.

I stayed, with my wife, at Carlton Hotel in October 2013. The position was excellent, between Victoria Station and Pimlico. The room small, without chest of drawers and somewhere to put the suitcases, the bed too small and the bathroom without shower cabin and the breakfast was very poor. On the other hand the room was clean, the towels had changed every day and the hotel concierge very gentle

Staff were so friendly at Carlton Hotel. Being here as tourists they told us all the best places to visit. But the hotel was cramped and the corridor was dark. As my husband is quite tall the shower was very cramped for him too

My stay at the Carlton Hotel was quite good and the price was reasonable, but the check-out was too early

I will not be booking at the Carlton Hotel again. It was clean but we should have been told there was work going on in the hotel. The staff only spoke if you spoke first, and on the day of leaving, we weren't even spoken to by the two ladies doing breakfast. We stayed in the dinning room at all times, making one feel very uncomfortable. No, we will not be using this hotel again.

The Carlton Hotel is just about value for money at £32. When I tried to book again for next week they wanted £47. The above sums up the staff: greedy and lazy. Repeated requests for milk in the room for the tea facility were ignored.

Good location, nice clean hotel. Good value for money. Maybe the receptionist at night could have had some better manners

Our room at the Carlton Hotel was a bit small, but it was clean. The breakfast wasn't amazing, but the room was cheap and the location was brilliant.

The Carlton Hotel is at the cheaper end of the market, but was adequate for our needs. The bedding, & towels clean, room comfortable with clean bathroom. The receptionist 10/10, she was exceptional, breakfast was continental style, only criticism of our overnight stay was the breakfast staff very rude serving us whilst talking on her mobile phone the whole breakfast period (unbelievable).

The main thing is that this was cheap. Bed was hard. TV didn't work. There was no milk in the 'make your own tea/coffee' tray. But it was cheap, and close to the middle of the city
