Camden Inn Hostel Reviews page 6
Based on 180 Hotel ReviewsGreat London hostel, cheap and very easy! For value and hospitality it was superb
Good service from the staff but they didn’t speak to us very much. Not many restaurants in the vicinity. I could not find the shower.
Really good for the price on TravelStay, got an en-suite room and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was included in the price and it is less than a 5 minute walk from Camden underground. Very good hostel.
Was supposed a 6-bed room. The room felt too small to have that many beds (would have probably been better as a four-bed). Also, it smelled a bit damp. It was an exposed-basement room, but the windows didn't appear to provide enough ventilation. My traveling companion and I swapped to a private twin room. The twin room was more than spacious, the beds comfy, and the shower nice. For just one night stopping off between travels, the Camden Inn is a great steal because of the price. I wouldn't probably stay here more than one night, though.
Stayed in a six-bed for one night at Camden Inn. The room was incredibly cramped with six beds. The lockers below the beds took up most storage room, but were too small for anything other than a carry-on to fit in. This meant that all six people sleeping in the room had their bags in the common floor, which was not ideal for safely moving about the room. I also did not know that there was a 10-pound deposit for linens and key cards; seemed a bit steep. Most other places I've stayed it's 5 pounds or less. The beds themselves were comfortable. I just felt bad for the other people in our room who were probably woken as we tried to quietly move about the room to get ready for bed
Camden Inn was completely adequate, given fresh linen and the bed was comfortable and the 24 hour reception is fab. You can't fault the facilities; excellent for anyone looking for a one night stay
Clean and value for money, London hostels are what they are and the Camden inn is no different, this is a good thing. Friendly staff, interesting people any time of the week, all the usual facilities and very, very central to everything worth seeing in Camden, I'd happily stay again. The only point that marked it down was the in room shower, a once over with some bleach would have been nice but you cant have it all. I recommend staying here if you're gigging in Camden (which I was) or just having a night around town
Cheap and cheerful but don't expect anything of high standards
I was content at Camden Inn
Online booking with Travelstay was excellent, customer relationship was good. And the lodging was worth stay
