Boston Court Hotel Reviews page 2
Based on 21 Hotel ReviewsI booked the single room with a private bathroom. The hotel is a little dated on the inside but can't fault the location. It was perfect for where I needed to be as I was in London for a hen do. The guy who was on reception was really helpful and let me have a look at the room before paying which I thought was nice of him. If you're going to be really fussy about London hotels, then this place isn't for you, but if it's somewhere you just need to put your head down after a long day then it does the job. The only downside to it is that the walls are a little thin. I was woken up at 2:15am on my last night by women in the next room having a very loud conversation which led me to knocking on their door to ask them to keep it down which they did. Breakfast was just toast, jam, butter and a glass of juice with a tea or coffee. It was simple but at least it was included
Great location! The hotel is small and poor standard of rooms but breakfast delivered on a tray to each room. Overall it is clean and great for a short stay close to the city.
Staff friendly and helpful, well placed for central London, small, clean and tidy - good value for money and easy to find
Good London hotel, excellent location. Furniture new, new carpet. room warm and cosy. The bathroom needs change, especially a shower and a toilet seat. For a breakfast, it would be nice that they make the real coffee, at least. Ggood and friendly staff. Surely return to Boston Court Hotel again
Lovely little hotel, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was equally basic but very carefully laid out :) Terrible sachet coffee though! The location was perfect for our short stay (easy access to the centre) and the surrounding area was great for wandering in. All in all a very pleasant experience on a low budget- thank you!
When we arrived at the Boston Court Hotel on Saturday the 16th Feb, the hotel looked quite nice from outside, but when inside the rooms were very disappointing. Although the bedding was clean, it was in dire need of updating & decorating, with a rusty old fridge inside! We didn't stay for breakfast as we didn't fancy eating in the breakfast room.
The location of the Boston Court Hotel was convenient: only a 5 min walk from Marble Arch tube station. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was sufficient enough for a one-night stay. The shower wasn't very clean, the soap that was provided was out of a package (as if it had been already used) and it took a while for the shower water to get hot.
We did not like the room to be at the top of the house. But it was clean and comfortable. Second night we were asked if we would change rooms because it was needed for bigger party. That was fineand hotel staff moved our things and put them exactly where they were in other room. Breakfast stops at 9.30 am. We rang at 1 min. to 9.30 and were told that breakfast was finished and cook had left the building. This did annoy us as we were so obliging day before. Why say it finishes at 9.30, and cook has already left building before 9.30. Would not return to this hotel as we don't feel it is value for money. We wanted to see a show and discovered that it is at the opposite end of Oxford Street to the West End
Very good position (5 minutes to Marble Arch!)Room was a little bit small, but comfortable and clean
The Boston Court Hotel is in a great location and a lovely area. The rooms were a little crammed. There was even a rather grotty full size fridge in the room! The shower room was very small, mouldy and had no proper ventilation. The hotel was great for our budget as I stayed with 3 friends for my hen weekend away. I would not stay there again or recommend it to others unless they were on a hen/stag weekend.
