Very nice stay, very clean and polite staff. We would book Borough Rooms again

Really enjoyed my stay at Borough Rooms. The receptionists were remarkably cheerful and efficient seeing how long they'd been working by the time I arrived. The room was clean and tidy and I liked the atmosphere in the hostel. Elephant and Castle is a, how can I put this, interesting area, but there are loads of places to eat and drink nearby and it's well connected on the bus and tube

Very nice bar area at Borough Rooms - beautifully decorated. The rooms are very basic but adequately clean. Unfortunately the toilets are very unpractical. They only have tiny basins so you inevitably spill water all over the floor even when only washing the hands. The showers have no doors or curtains so you literally set the whole room under water when taking a shower. There is also a shelf or something to keep you clothes dry missing

It was great to stay in Borough Rooms. It's near to the underground and a lot of facilities. A little walk from the Borough Market and some monuments. The English breakfast is complete even if we did not have the same food every morning because of the hour or the woman who served us. The welcom team is very nice, easy to talk with. The bad: the noise because of groups who stayed there too. No matter the hour of the night nobody tell them to be quiet sometimes. Unfortunately, the wifi is the worst thing. It was impossible to stay connect more than 2 minutes in common room (and no possible at all in our room, what we knew when we have booked). Good to stay if it is not to long

I very much enjoyed my stay at Borough Rooms. The receptionists were welcoming and the continental breakfast was decent. I would definitely recommend it especially as their prices are very affordable

Pleasant surprise. Clean London accommodation and very helpful staff ideal, no frills budget stay

I'm well on my way to 70 and was pleasantly surprised by the set up at Borough Rooms. Was very clean the staff helpful and the arrangement was just right for our party who had come to support my niece who was running in the marathon. We would use it again. For you senior citizens be sure to book a room with it's own toilet, my days of trotting down the hall in the middle of the night are in the past
