Belmont Hotel London Reviews page 6
Based on 114 Hotel ReviewsClean sheets very small bathroom staff nice and helpful breakfast quite good and hot value for money
We were very disappointed with the room. It was quite old, shabby, scruffy and damp. The lighting in the room was really poor so appeared very dark. Breakfast was OK but I don't think we would stay there again.
A wonderful stay. We arrived early and staff were very helpful. They held onto our baggage until checking allowing us to start early on our touring. Hotel room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have an elevator, so if climbing stairs is a difficulty ask for a room on lower floors. Staff were willing to help with baggage. The hotel's also in a great location (10 mins walk from Paddington Station and Tube). The traditional English breakfast was delicious. I'd say this hotel is definitely worth the price. Will look to re-book next time I'm in London.
Generally fine, but a few changes would be welcome. The beds has only one very flat pillow each and there was no plug in the sink. The TV had only 3 channels once we connected the aerial. However, there were nice fresh towels and bedding, a good breakfast each morning and the hotel's in a great location, within walking distance from Paddington Station. OK for the price.
We enjoy in Belmont and Astoria Hotel. It is in a very good area, near the center but in a peace street. The bath is very very little. The english breakfast is good and enough
The best feature of this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The family room was cramped with 2 single and 1 double bed but it was clean. Bathroom decor needs updating but very roomy. Breakfast was very good
Booked for 3 nights, when we arrived we found the rooms to be small but very clean. An excellent breakfast provided every morning. It's an ideal place to stay if you just want somewhere to sleep during your visit and we will probably use it again
Good Points: Location and cooked breakfast Bad Points: Most of the staff, the not very clean room (especially the whole en-suite with it's horrible smell) and the lack of fresh air or a view (the sole window was secured in a totally closed, unopenable position with a highly fetching view of a brick wall, despite being on the second floor of the hotel
Room was clean and adequate for the price. Position was excellent close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gdns. I would choose this area again, handy for tube buses and Paddington station
Location: Perfect. It couldn't be any better! Convenient bus connections; great eateries nearby, internet cafe, pubs etc. Very close to London centere and attractions, SOHO, ChinaTown etc, etc. Rooms are clean, probably the toilet is very small. Value for money. Breakfast good- bacon, eggs, beans and toast. The manager is very friendly and accommodating
