Budget London hotel in a quiet neighbourhood close to Stamford Hill and Manor house underground stations. Bus stops available to go around London as well! Double glazing would be a major improvement for rooms on the road side. Bathrooms would need repairs Friendly and welcoming staff, I definitely recommend this family type hotel if you need a cheap/correct place to stay and enjoy London

Amhurst Hotel was ok

The rooms, bathroom and kitchen at Amhurst Hotel are tidy. The room was smaller than expected: double bed with only a little space around. Properly equipped, a small fridge included. The complaint I have is smoke from cigarettes and the owner was rude for no reason

The stay at Amhurst Hotel was good enough. The room was very little for 3 people, even if it was clean and tidy. The whole building needed restoration

Highly recommended Amhurst Hotel for value. This hotel was clean, safe, and affordable, just what I needed for a short working trip to London. The funny, no nonsense manager Jim was very helpful, even going the extra mile to return a cellphone I'd annoyingly left behind after checking out! Accessible from Finsbury Park tube, the neighbourhood is not exciting but is safe and well-serviced by buses
