We stayed for 2 nights. My wife and I stayed in a ground floor room in the associated hotel across the road from the main building. Our two friends stayed in a room in the basement of the same building. My wife and I had no complaints. Our friends’ only complaints were that the room was small and the heating seemed to be too high. I would stay there again though. I thought it was well priced, clean and the location was really good - right across the road from Kings Cross Station. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke several languages, not that we needed that bit! The O'Niells pub is about one block away had good cheap meals by London standards.

Absolutely horrendous service. Receptionist threw out our guests and threatened to chuck us out with them. Never going to go here again.

A nice, comfortable place to stay. The rooms are clean and bright and the staff are polite and helpful. Not bad at all. I'd stay there again.

When I was looking for a place to stay in London I was drawn to check accomodation through TravelStay. I was impressed with the positive reviews I read regarding the Alhambra Hotel and I was not dissipointed, Alough the twin room was small it was more that adequate, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellant and the family atmosphere and welcome only added to a very enjoyable time. The central location is also an added bonus. Excellent value for money.
