The 29 London (fka Airways Hotel) Reviews page 4
Based on 60 Hotel ReviewsOverall a comfortable stay with clean rooms & friendly staff
For a short break, sight seeing trip the hotel was fine. It catered for our needs. Clean comfortable room and breakfast was fine enough. Staff were friendly and helpful
Ideally situated, pleasant staff only problem with bedside light. Would certainly book Airways Hotel again and recommend to friends. Good value for money
Excellent budget London hotel. Short walk to Victoria Station and supermarket. Very friendly staff and spacious rooms. Will definitely book Airways Hotel
My girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights at Airways Hotel. The location is excellent, 10 mins walk from coach and tube station also 30 mins from St James Park. The room was roomy and the shower was large. Very clean hotel and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in London. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the price it represented excellent value. This is my second stay here and I would book Airways Hotel again
Friendly staff, rooms were comfortable, breakfast room a bit small - so be patient
Very comfy beds, best nights sleep had in a while. Though the window was a little hard to close. Staff easy to talk to, with a smooth check out. And with it being only a 5 minute walk from the coach station and underground, it's easy to get everywhere
There is an old saying, if you pay two star prices expect two star quality, and this is just what you get. The hotel is tired and in need of some tlc, the bathroom in the room was dirty, the curtains had holes in them and the windows looked as if they had never been cleaned. The breakfast room was far too small for the people who were staying, and on two occasions we had to go back to our room and await somewhere to sit; the breakfast itself was poor with only toast and very limited continental food. The saving grace was that we only had three nights there and being in London there was plenty to do to keep us away from the hotel
We wanted clean accommdation close to the Victoria area. Despite the many negative reviews on this hotel. We found the hotel room adequate for our two night stay. We requested a room at lower floor level, and this we recieved. The breakfast was ideal and supplied most of what to expect for a continental breakfast, along with a good choice of cereals. For a short stay it ticked all the right boxes for us
Quite an enjoyable stay, very helpful staff
