146 Suites Gloucester Place Reviews page 4
Based on 33 Hotel ReviewsMy stay at 146 Suites Gloucester Place would have been very good but, unfortunately, the room was lacking in a few basics that were important. The kitchen lacked a saucepan; there was only a frying pan, and there were only side plate - no large ones. Also, there were not many utensils, so it was good that the microwave allowed me to heat a bowl of soup. Also, there was no towel to dry anything with. The bathroom was fantastically clean and tidy but only had one working bulb, which I don't think is satisfactory. I ended up turning off the fan heater in the middle of the night due to the loud, rubmling noise it made intermittently. This meant I had to have the radiator on full blast (as it was rather cold). Overall, a lovely stay, and the room was great despite needing improvement. Thanks.
I stayed in a very nice, clean apartment at 146 Gloucester Place. The staff were friendly and everything one would ever need was there. We enjoyed our stay very much, thanks again. See you next time.
Found the suites clean, although a bit small, and in a good location close to Baker Street Tube Station
Great location, good internal space, but bathroom very small. Water leaked through light fitting from bathroom above. Heat pump also leaked
Very nice apartment, clean, friendly staff, everything there one would ever need. We enjoyed our stay very much, thanks again
Cosy London apartment. Love the decor and cleanliness (very friendly maid cleans the room every single day). Feel very at home (no formalities of regular hotels or hosts like the usual B&Bs). What I dislike about 146 suites is the management, could've informed us that we have to pick up the key at Hotel 82, which is at 82 Gloucester Place (mind you, the unit numbers skip and it's quite a distance away from 146). The toilet's too small but it's very clean. Walls are really thin (but it seems like apartments in Europe have really thin walls) and I had a hard time falling asleep on the first night because I could hear vehicles zooming past our unit. Overall I love it so as long as I don't get to deal much with the hotel management staff.
Very poor. Room was in a dingy basement. Everything poor quality and worn. Toilet seat cracked. No bedroom furniture etc except bed. Bathroom tiny. Depressing. Lights fused. 24 hour reception was about half a mile away at no 82. Plenty of noise from other rooms - little soundproofing. All in all - dreadful.
The stay in the apartment was very good. Kitchen well equipped and everything modern and clean. Being on the ground floor was a bit annoying as people could easily look into the flat if the blinds were up. Also it would have been helpful to know that keys have to be picked up at 82 Hotel on the same road, there was no notice of that. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
