Palmers Lodge
If you want to stay somewhere truly different then try the former home of Samuel Palmer, owner of the Huntley and Palmer biscuit empire! This substantial Victorian building has been tastefully converted and many original features have been retained for your enjoyment. You can book anything from a private ensuite room at Palmers Lodge to a bed in a dormitory that sleeps up to 14 people. If your budget does restrict you to a dorm bed you will find plenty of toilets and showers nearby.
After a good night’s sleep you will welcome the fresh continental breakfast that’s served in the dining room every morning. In the evenings you can relax in the large lounge or head to the bar for a few drinks and the chance to chat to other people staying here. You will find flat screen TV’s dotted all over the place and if you need to contact friends and family there is free internet access and WiFi available in the lobby. Central London is only a few stops away on the tube from Palmers Lodge.

Nearby Finchley Road has two cinemas, a shopping centre. The Hampstead Theatre and plenty of pubs and restaurants to keep you occupied. You should also take the time to visit nearby Hampstead Heath and Regents Park during your stay. If you want to visit the tourist attractions of central London, hop on a tube on the Jubilee line from Swiss Cottage tube station near Palmers Lodge. This will take you directly to places like Green Park and Westminster, home of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
