Twickenham Guest House Reviews
Based on 12 Hotel ReviewsWe stayed here for the Army Navy rugby game and were really pleased. A very short walk to the Stadium (you can see it from the guest house) The room was basic but very clean. We weren't in there for very long anyway. The staff at the guest house couldn't have been any more helpful. We will be booking again
Our visit was more time consuming than planned but our room was totally adequate for our needs, clean, quiet, and comfortable. 6am starts did not enable us to partake of breakfast, it is served from 8 till 10, but the nature of the units meant that our late nights and early rising did not cause disturbance to anyone, we came and went with total ease. I would highly recommend Twickenham Guest House
The room at Twickenham, Guest House was quite old-fashioned in style, however clean and well-kept. Although the bathroom was small it was very clean and nicely designed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast could have been a lot better, my friend had the full-english and said it wasn't nice at all, I had cereal and fruit. There wasn't an option with milk, it was semi-skimmed or nothing, as someone who doesn't drink milk and avoids dairy I wasn't particularly happy about it. Not bad accommodation, just let down but the food, room size and could do with a style update
Me and my old man were staying there for the Rugby World Cup (saw the tragic Scotland match!) and it was comfortable enough. Accommodation seemed to be quite limited in Twickenham generally, so when you throw in an event like the RWC it can make life harder, so I guess we were quite lucky to have got anywhere at all. It was clean and well decorated even if it didn’t look like much from the outside and the beds were comfy. The restaurant section was nice if a little bland, but the shared kitchen bit was cool and generally we had an alright stay. Would probably stay again but wouldn’t come here with my girlfriend
Very basic small double room, clean but could do with re decoration and freshening up. Carpet had a small tear and there was a dip in the floor into the bathroom door, with something sharp under the carpet, which we caught our feet on a few times. Twickenham Guest House is ok if all you're going to do is use it as a base, room too small to spend a significant amount of time in
