Staying in Brighton during the summer can be incredibly expensive as it’s a popular tourist destination. Don’t let that put you off coming to Brighton though, as Phoenix Hall offers the perfect solution. When the students of the University of Brighton head home for the summer, the self contained flats within these halls of residence are available to book. You can book a single room within one of these flats that have up to eight rooms in them and get the luxury of your own ensuite bathroom.
Aside from your room, your flat at Phoenix Hall will also have a communal kitchen that is packed with cooking facilities and utensils so you can prepare yourself some tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners. There is also a communal TV room on site so you can watch TV and chat to other guests during the evenings. You will find a coin operated laundry on site so that you can wash your dirty laundry, as well as a payphone so that you can keep in contact with all of your friends and relatives

Phoenix Hall occupies an amazing location in Central Brighton. You will be a few minutes walk away from the spectacular Royal Pavilion. Head towards the sea front where you can paddle on the pebbled beach or eat candyfloss and play on the arcade games on Brighton Pier. You could also visit the Sealife Centre. If you love shopping you can head for the boutiques in The Laines or the High Street shops on Western Road. Brighton is home to a fantastic variety of pubs and clubs too.

- By Train
The closest train station to Phoenix Hall is Brighton Railway Station. Then simply follow the by foot directions below or catch a taxi.
- By Car
From either the A23 or the A27, follow the signs for Brighton city centre and the sea front. Turn left at the traffic lights (before you reach Richmond Place) and then left onto Lewes Road. Turn right onto Southover Street, where you will soon spot Phoenix Hall.
- On Foot
From Brighton Railway Station, take the main exit onto Surrey Street and take an immediate left onto Trafalgar Street (which runs underneath the station). Follow this road to the bottom. Turn left onto York Place. When you reach the traffic lights start to cross the roads to your right and keep going until you reach Richmond Place. Turn left and walk up Richmond Place and Lewes Road. Turn right into Southover Street. This is where you will find Phoenix Hall.
