Basic but great value accommodation, handy for the city or A1(M). If you don't mind a short walk to the (very clean) bath and shower room, then recommended.

Very satisfactory and will stay again.

Rooms were adequate and staff very helpful. One downside was that the light in the bathroom didn't work, making showering or going to the toilet in the evening very difficult! But overall, fair quality for the price.

St Hild & St Bede College has very nice location to view the beautiful Durham city. It was a very comfortable and homely place.

We reserved 3 rooms. Although basic, the rooms and bathroom were neat and clean. However the mattress in one room was very uncomfortable, one of the showers in the shower-room was broken and the toilet needed repair. Tea and coffee were available in the room but there was no indication that the kettle was along the corridor (perhaps because we arrived after reception was shut). All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful.

College of St Hild & St Bede accommodation is simple, clean and comfortable. I was very pleased with the standard for such a low price. Breakfast was excellent, although you do have a long walk to get it!

I was delighted with my stay in Durham. College of St Hild and St Bede is a wonderful place to stay in. My room was really excellent, breakfasts were tasty and staf was friendly. I will warlmy recomend it to others as well. If I ever return to Durham I will definetelly try to book a room at the same college.
