But if we had to pick one thing to do, we’d certainly plump for the Aeronaut Pub on the High Street. This is not just your average boozer, oh no. This is also a brewery (great) but more than that is its own circus. Yep, a circus. With acts on regularly and an aeronautical theme throughout, this really is a must-see. You can watch an act or just grab a homemade beer and sit in a ramshackle carnival hut while you sup!

Pubs are something that the UK does really, really well, but even by our usual high standards, the Aeronaut Pub is a special breed of excellence. Situated in large premises on Acton High Street, the pub offers a large range of beers, including one brewed on site, as well as circus performances on Friday and Saturday nights and one of London’s most impressive and quirky gardens (particularly at night when it’s all lit up). With great décor celebrating the golden age of British aeronautics, this venue is truly magical and a great place to bring friends and family.
