Stratford is home to Stratford International Station and Stratford Regional Station. From Stratford International you can catch the only high-speed commuter service in the whole of Britain by taking a Southeastern train, which goes across Kent and East London through Stratford to St Pancras International. It takes an hour to Dover Priory, 1 hour 20 minutes to the seaside at Margate and just 7 minutes to St Pancras.

From Stratford Regional Station you can take Abellio Greater Anglia trains to Stansted Airport in an hour (via Tottenham Hale), to Liverpool Street Station in less than 10 minutes for The City’s major businesses, and to stations across Essex and East Anglia, like Norwich with its historic castle in 1 hour 49 minutes.

Stratford Tube Station is incredibly well served by two tube lines (the Central and the Jubilee Line), which means that all of London’s top tourist hotspots are within easy reach of your hotel. A 15 minute tube ride on the Central Line would take you straight to St Paul’s Tube Station in the heart of The City, where you can get off and explore local attractions like St Pauls Cathedral. A 25 minute ride will take you to the ultimate shopper’s paradise, Oxford Street (Oxford Circus Station). If you headed into London on the Jubilee Line it would only take you 20 minutes to get to Westminster Tube Station where you can explore the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. If you stopped off at Baker Street Tube Station ( a mere 25 minute tube journey) the London Planetarium, Madam Tussauds and London Zoo are within a few minutes walk.

Parking facilities are in plentiful supply. The nearest NCP car park is at Great Eastern Road, 4 minutes walk from Stratford Station. Other NCP car parks may be found in Paul Street and Clere Street. In addition there is a multi-story car park at the Shopping Centre.

Black cabs are always available at Stratford Station and may be hailed from the street throughout the area. In addition, there are plenty of taxi companies in the area including Eurolink Cars at 353 High Street, Access Cars at 9 Church Street, TT Taxis at 8 Thornham Grove and Seven Fives Cabs-Couriers at 2 Maryland Station. These are all based close to Stratford Station.

If you start out at Stratford Tube Station you can explore some of the nearby East London districts to get a real flavour of the East End that surrounds you. A 25 minute stroll would take you to Whitechapel, the scene of Jack the Rippers Deeds. It would also take you this long to get to Bethnal Green where you can visit the Museum of Childhood or the Columbia Road Flower Market. If you want to head into The City to see things like the Barbican Centre and The Gherkin, this will only take you 25 minutes too!
