How to get around Oxford Street
Oxford Street Tube
You’ve got a choice of three tube lines from Oxford Circus Tube Station, so you can get to most places really easily! Why not take a tube to Waterloo Station? It’s only a 7-minute journey and here you can take a ride on the London Eye and get stunning views across the whole of the Capital. If you want to explore trendy North London and its popular bars and clubs, take a 10-minute tube ride and get off at Old Street Station. To take in the atmosphere of South-West London, take a 23-minute tube journey to Kew Bridge Station where you’ll find Kew Gardens which is a stunning horticultural centre. Wimbledon Park Station is only 26 minutes from Oxford Circus and there’s a lovely rural feel to Wimbledon Village. Even if the tennis isn’t on, there are plenty of boutiques and bars to explore (as well as beautiful Wimbledon Common).

If you decide to drive to Oxford Street area you can park in the Welbeck Street NCP car park, just off Oxford Street, near Bond Street Tube Station.

If you need a taxi during your stay here, you’ll find Soho Cars on Lexington Street – not far from Piccadilly Tube Station.
Oxford Street On Foot
If you stay in Oxford Street you’re just a short walk away from many of London’s top attractions. If you start out at Oxford Circus Tube Station, famous Covent Garden Market - with its bars and street entertainers - is just a 15-minute stroll away. And don’t forget to pay a visit to the Queen’s official residence, Buckingham Palace. You can also walk here in 15 minutes. If you want to see stunning St Paul’s Cathedral, it’s a 30 minute walk and the world-famous and exclusive Harrods department store in Mayfair is just 25 minutes away on foot.
