How to get around Knightsbridge
Knightsbridge Tube
Knightsbridge is incredibly well connected to the rest of London, with two tube stations in the vicinity. You can use Knightsbridge and Hyde Park Corner. Both are on the Piccadilly Line, meaning you can reach Leicester Square Station in 7 minutes for plenty of shops, shows and eateries. You can also reach the City (Holborn Station) in 9 minutes, or get to trendy, picturesque Notting Hill via Notting Hill Gate Station in 11 minutes. Camden Town Station and Camden Market is only 12 minutes away, while if you have any tickets for a sporting event (or even just want a tour) at Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park Station is only 21 minutes away.
Knightsbridge Parking
You will find plenty of parking all over Knightsbridge, but one of the best options will be Knightsbridge Car Park on Kinnerton Street. There is also an NCP car park on Pavillion Road.
Knightsbridge Taxis
Black cabs are available all over Knightsbridge, so you can hail one on the street. There are many cab companies in the area too. Beaufort Cars on Old Brompton Road is really close to Knightsbridge Tube Station.
Knightsbridge On Foot
Whilst Knightsbridge is crammed with shops and tourist attractions, and close to other attraction packed districts, you’ll be amazed just how many other tourist attractions you can reach on foot. If you start out at Knightsbridge Tube Station in a pair of comfy shoes you could take the 20 minute stroll to Oxford Street where you can shop till you drop in the high street stores. A short 25 minute walk will take you to the majestic Westminster Cathedral. Even some of London’s greatest attractions like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey are only 30 minutes away on foot. If you fancy a trip on the London Eye, this is only a 40 minute stroll away too!
