How to get around Earls Court
Earls Court Tube
Wherever you stay in Earls Court, it’s easy to get to Earls Court Tube Station, which makes travelling around London a breeze. As the tubes that stop here run on the Piccadilly and District lines, you can get to Notting Hill Gate to browse the colourful stalls of Portobello Road Market in less than 6 minutes. You can travel to Westminster, where you’ll find places like the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, in around 11 minutes, and Knightsbridge (home of Harrods) in approximately 6 minutes.
Earls Court Parking
If you plan to drive to Earls Court, you may be lucky enough to find a hotel that has parking available. If not, you can always park your car in the underground NCP car park on Cromwell Road.
Earls Court Taxis
If you want to use taxis to get around Earls Court, and beyond, you will find taxi companies dotted all over the area, including one right outside Earls Court Tube Station and one on nearby Kenway Road.
Earls Court On Foot
As Earls Court is within easy walking distance of loads of London’s attractions, it’s no wonder that so many people opt to stay here! If you start out at Earls Court Tube Station, you can walk to Kensington High Street in 10 minutes. You can get to the massive Natural History, Science, and Victoria and Albert Museums in South Kensington in around 15 minutes too. From here, it will only take you 10 minutes to stroll to the delightful Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace and the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington. The Olympia Exhibition Centre in Kensington is only 20 minutes away from Earls Court Tube Station, as are Stamford Bridge (Chelsea Football Club’s grounds) and Kings Road in Chelsea.
