How to get around Bethnal Green
Bethnal Green Train
Bethnal Green Train Station gives a fast route into The City of London, with Abellio Greater Anglia trains taking just 3 minutes to Liverpool Street Station. In 10 minutes you can be in Stoke Newington for a great night out at popular bars and pubs in Church Street. Footy fans will find a journey time of less than 20 minutes to White Hart Lane for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’s ground, and in just over 20 minutes you can get to Chingford. You can also get a direct train in an hour and a half to Enfield Town and to Chesunt in Hertfordshire from Bethnal Green.
Bethnal Green Tube
Bethnal Green is so close to Central London that Bethnal Green Tube Station provides you with fast access to many of London’s top tourist attractions. As it’s situated on the Central Line you can travel to St Paul’s to gaze in awe at St Pauls Cathedral in around 7 minutes, get off at Oxford Circus to go shopping in Oxford Street in approximately 14 minutes, and stop off to take pictures of Marble Arch in just over 15 minutes. Swap onto the Piccadilly line and it will only take you 11 minutes to get to Covent Garden and just under 20 minutes to get to Knightsbridge to visit Harrods.

If you’re looking for an NCP car park, the most convenient to Bethnal Green is in Great Eastern Street in nearby Islington which is open on every week day.

To get a true taste of London’s multicultural East End you’ll find it easy to explore the surrounding areas of Bethnal Green on foot. Start out at Bethnal Green Train Station and you can be trying out the curry houses on Brick Lane in less than 10 minutes, or frequenting the trendy bars and nightlife on Shoreditch’s Old Street and Hoxton Square in around 15 minutes. Just a few minutes on from here you will find a range of stalls at the Old Spitalfields Market. If you are looking for green open spaces to relax in you could walk the 20 or so minutes to Victoria Park which boarders Bethnal Green, or the 25 minutes to Millennium Park in nearby Mile End. Even The City is only 30 minutes away!
