Whether you’re planning a night out in Swansea or fancy exploring South West
Wales, the rooms at Preseli on the Swansea University Campus offer you a cheap
base with 24 hour access so you can visit surrounding places of interest day and
night. Stay here and you’ll be close to the city centre, the bus station, train
station and the M4. The students won’t be here as they’ll have gone home on
vacation, but the campus bars and the Taliesin Theatre will still be available
for you to frequent.

A Typical Bedroom at Preseli

At Preseli you will have the luxury of your own ensuite shower, toilet and
washbasin. There are single, twin and double rooms available so whether you’re
travelling alone, with a friend or with a partner there is a room to accommodate
you! Inside your simple room you’ll find bed linen, a desk, tea and coffee
making amenities, central heating and a phone which you can put credit on to
make outgoing calls. The refectory is where your cooked or continental breakfast
is served in the mornings. |

Preseli is located in Wales’ 2nd largest city, Swansea. You will find plenty of
vibrant nightlife on nearby Wind Street and The Kingsway. You can explore places
like the ruins of Swansea Castle and the Plantasia tropical hot house. Swansea
has a host of high street shops as well as Wales’ largest indoor covered market
for you to browse through. On warm days you can go to the beaches of Swansea
Bay. The beautiful Gower Peninsula, which is within easy travelling distance, is
a tourist hot spot. |

There are limited car parking
spaces available at Preseli. If there aren’t any available during the time when
you want to stay here, there are two car parks bordering the Swansea University
Campus.
The reception at Preseli has a safe for small valuables. Children
are welcome to stay at Preseli as long as they are accompanied by an
adult.

Swansea High Street Train Station is only a short bus ride or taxi journey away
from Preseli on the Swansea University Campus.

M4 Westbound – exit at junction 42 and get on the A483 to Swansea. Once you
reach Swansea get on the A4067 towards The Mumbles which is Oystermouth Road.
Once you have passed Brynmill Lane on your right, turn right into the Swansea
University Campus where Preseli is located.
M4 Eastbound – exit at
junction 47 and head for Swansea on the A483. Follow the signs for High Street
as you approach the city centre. Once you reach Wind Street turn right onto the
A4067. This is Oystermouth Road heading for The Mumbles. Once you pass Brynmill
Lane on your right, turn right into the Swansea University Campus. This is where
you will find Preseli.

Par autobus |

Once you get to Swansea High Street Station go out of the main exit and catch a
bus that takes you to the Quadrant bus station. From here the buses in bays 1, 2
or 3 will take you to the Swansea University Campus where Preseli is situated.
