Tube
As Kings Cross is home to London’s largest underground station (Kings Cross
St Pancras Tube Station), you’ll find it really easy to get around the capital.
Tubes that run on the Northern, Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City,
Victoria and Piccadilly lines will stop here. You can travel to places like
bustling Oxford Street in less than 5 minutes and Westminster (home of the
Houses of Parliament) in around 10 minutes. You could also use Euston Tube
Station, which is on the Northern and Victoria tube lines.
Parking
You’ll find two well-located NCP car parks in Kings Cross. There’s a surface
car park just behind Kings Cross Train Station (accessed via York Road and
Goodsway) and a multi storey car park at Euston Train Station.

Taxis
If you want to use taxis to get around London you will find a taxi rank just
next to platform 1 at Kings Cross Station. You will also find a taxi rank on the
forecourt of St Pancras Train Station and one just beneath Euston Train Station.
On Foot
There are plenty of places you can walk to from Kings Cross without spending
a penny on public transport! Start out at Kings Cross Station and you can take
the 15-minute walk to Islington to sample its nightlife, or the 25-minute stroll
to Camden Town to shop in its bustling markets. Bloomsbury, home of the gigantic
British Museum, is only 20 minutes away on foot. Whilst here you should walk 5
minutes further to get to Covent Garden to watch the street entertainers and
shop in the colourful market.
