Mal Kearney had a “clean and warm” room at Beaconsfield Hotel, which was cleaned daily and had a “very comfortable” bed and pillows. The bar downstairs had a “relaxed” atmosphere with “warm, friendly and helpful” staff. There are “many” cafes, bars and public transport links nearby. He would stay again because it is “ideal” for a traveller on a budget. (28 June)
