David McDougall recent TravelStay review:
Cheap, functional and centrally located. Lovely bed, 50'' Plasma, hot and powerful shower. What more do you need from a hotel room for under £40 in London? I shall return and that just about says it all.
FREE Full English or Continental Breakfast available
Mr Keith Taylor recent TravelStay review:
My wife and I stayed a couple of nights in January - excellent value, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff - thank you!
Jeff Morris recent TravelStay review:
I stayed 4 nights in the single en-suite room while on business in London and found the room clean and tidy, the staff friendly, the water in the shower nice and hot and the breakfast filling!
FREE Buffet style Full English breakfast included
Tessa Le Plar recent TravelStay review:
This must be the sixth or seventh time I've stayed here after a works do! THIS time I found myself with an en-suite shower / toilet combo which was most unexpected! Tiny but fully functioning! Very comfy night's sleep again and I was chuffed to find myself on the side of the hotel that looks out onto the square, which I love :) And hats off to the receptionist who, at 4.30am tried to help me find a phone charger around reception after mine died! Breakfast is always interesting but the tea amazing! I stay here a lot and I always say the same thing - you get what you pay for. I am totally happy staying here, I love the area, the proximity to the tube stations and the convenience of having this place so I don't have to get back up to Northamptonshire just to come back again the next day. For a convenient, clean bed with breakfast included, it's perfect :)

California Hotel is a little gem just a stones throw away from King Cross station and the tube. We were welcomed by very pleasant staff who were helpful and friendly. We were in a family room in the basement which slept six. Four single beds and one double all of which were very comfortable. Although the room slept six we were not cramped at all as the room was a very good size with en-suite which was of high standard. Cleanliness was exceptional being of a very high standard throughout. We all had a lovely hot English breakfast which was buffet style and there were cereal, yoghurt, fruit and cheese with plenty of tea, coffee and juice. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely return when next in London :)
FREE Continental or Full English breakfast
Ronny recent TravelStay review:
Brilliant hotel, friendly staff, off road parking, good cooked breakkie, and cheap rooms. If you could put a negative on it then I would say it has a slightly dated look about it, but who cares about that ? It's a 2 min walk to Paddington train station and I will be staying here again 150%. Thanks Normandie hotel for a great weekend stay!
4 star luxury near Battersea Park

So Park was the perfect place to stay. Receptionist was very helpful and polite. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave. The bathroom was amazing!!! Thank you TravelStay for the wonderful stay.
Victoria recent TravelStay review:
I have stayed in quite a few hostels in London and THIS IS MY FAVOURITE! Friendly staff, clean (cleanest showers and toilets in hostels ever!) GREAT location GREAT value for money. The time I stayed at (after NYE time) was quite quiet so I CANT WAIT TO RETURN!
Jenny Jones recent TravelStay review:
The room was very warm and clean. It had a hair dryer, tv, phone and tea and coffee facilities. The shower and WC were new, clean and worked well. The shower was really good. The bed was comfortable and the mattress new. The blankets were perfectly adequate. The room was quiet. Everyday the room was cleaned with fresh towels. I thought it was very good value for money and enjoyed my stay very much. It was very close to Paddington and very convenient for transport links. I would highly recommend this hotel
FREE Continental Breakfast
Cliff White recent TravelStay review:
Would return again - very good location in the heart of Earl's Court for business and for tourists and within 3 to 5 minutes from the Piccadilly Underground Line tube/train station and many restaurants, pubs, shopping, convenience stores and tourist attractions only minutes away.
Attractive exterior and interior, clean and upgraded rooms (where I lodged), WiFi in rooms, with good speed and bandwidth. Exceptional staff and service (Giorgio and Elena were outstanding)! There was not a question asked relative to tourist spots, gym, restaurants & pubs, a barber, other stores, with specific maps, directions, names and phone numbers quickly provided, along with knowledgeable and friendly recommendations. If even a small issue, staff and/or management were exceptional with helping.
Lexham offers what most business and tourist travelers require. Management’s attention to detail is reflected throughout its staff, including house keeping and dining staff and in a word, notable and while there are hundreds, perhaps several thousand hotels throughout London, the Lexham Gardens Hotel I think, while not perfect, has distinguished itself among it’s peers and beyond. In 25 years of travel, I’ve submitted only one or two references/commendations for hotel lodgings, but the staff/service was worth the time spent writing this note.
