		Keele University occupies a sprawling 600 acre campus close to Keel Village in Staffordshire. Its here that you'll find The Oaks (normally halls of residence for students during term time), whose rooms become available for budget conscious travellers to book during holidays. There are twenty single ensuite rooms available which each come with their own desk, wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, towels and toiletries. An iron and ironing board are also available upon request so you don’t have to walk around in creased clothes! 		Keele Village and Keel Golf Course are situated just outside the Keele University Campus where The Oaks is situated. A short drive away is Stoke On Trent where you should visit the Cultural Quarter and go to the Wedgwood Visitor Centre and Museum. If you love the outdoors the Staffordshire Moorlands, Cannock Chase and the beautiful Peak District are all close by. If you adore amusements parks and rollercoaster’s you can travel to Alton Towers and Drayton Manor Theme Park with ease.

Directions
	•	By Train	:	The closest train stations to The Oaks are Stoke on Trent which is 5 miles away and Crewe which is approximately 12 miles away. To get to The Oaks from either of these stations you should hop in a taxi for the remainder of your journey.
	•	By Car	:	If you are travelling on the M6 exit and junction 15 and follow the A519 to Newcastle Under Lyme. At the fourth roundabout turn left onto Lower Street. Go straight ahead at the next roundabout and then turn left at the next one. Follow the signs for Keele University and Conference Park on the A525. If you’re Northbound on the M1 exit at junction 28 and follow the A38, then the A516, then the A50(signposted Newcastle Under Lyme). Turn onto the A34 and go straight ahead into Lower Street at the first big roundabout you meet and straight ahead again at the next roundabout. Turn left at the next one and follow the signs for Keele University and Conference Park on the A525. If you’re Southbound on the M1 exit at junction 24 and follow the A50. Turn off onto the A34 (signposted Newcastle Under Lyme) and follow the directions above. You will find The Oaks on your right hand side as you enter Keele University campus.
