Description

A small relic of Edinburgh's 19th century industrial heritage was demolished in 1993, and in its place the University built this small block of flats known as East Newington Place. The block is quietly situated next to the local graveyard, just off Newington Road, one of the main routes to the south of the city. It is is within a short distance of both the central George Square campus area and also Pollock Halls of Residence.
