The room was very warm. The beds were clean but the floor was not so clean. There was no towels and the kettle didn't work but apart from that, an enjoyable stay. I would book Corbigoe Hotel again.

I was relatively happy given I knew I would get what I paid for. However, there was no wireless internet (now considered de rigeur in my honest opinion), and the breakfast selection was appalling. But room, bed, shower, TV, service were all fine

We had booked with the Corbigoe, but when we arrived we were told our room was in the Park Hotel, about 200 yards up on the other side of the road. The room was small with very basic facilities, only 1 bedside table, a rickety wardrobe and there was no kettle in the room - although we were supplied with all the other tea/coffee-making paraphernalia. We asked for a kettle to be supplied, but it never arrived in our 3 days there. The sheets and towels were all clean and freshly laundered. The shower/toilet was small and very much in need of a refit and could have been cleaner, especially around the door. The sink was showing signs of age and needed a good disinfectant wipe. The shower area was also in need of a proper clean with disinfectant, which we did before using it. Breakfast was as advertised, with good tea/coffee and real butter for the toast, with a selection of cereals. The staff were always polite and friendly. The hotel is very well situated for tube and bus users, with several carry-out or sit-in eateries in close proximity. We would use it again, armed with disinfectant wipes just in case. You get what you pay for and you can't expect 5 star hotels for 1 or 2 star prices.
