Clean, easily accessible via public transport, and centrally-located, Wigram House is a great option for budget travel if you don't require the typical comforts of a hotel. This is university housing, which means it is used by students for most of the year. As such, it is not very plush, but it does serve its purpose. I stayed in a private room with two twin beds, which was quiet and clean. The toilet and shower facilities were also very clean, although small, and are shared among residents on the same hall. The staff was helpful and accommodating, and with the exception of the noisy boys in the room next door, this was a pleasant place to stay. If you are looking for a hotel-like experience, find somewhere else. But if you need a place to crash while you spend most of your time exploring London, this is the place. I would definitely stay here again

Drawback: only one towel. Advantages: great location to explore London and meet its inhabitants

For low budget traveller, good location. Room old fashioned and no high comfort

Room was very clean. Quite noisy at night, you can hear other students talking loudly to each other
