I stayed in room 60 in this Central London hotel. My only problem was that |I was kept awake all night by pipes in the wall next to the window, banging all night. They would stop and just as I was trying to get to sleep, they would start again! My son and his wife stayed in a different room and didn't have this problem. Also the television kept losing its signal. I would stay at this hotel again, but not in room 60

Melville hotel is cheap and in a good location. The rooms tend to be small but have everything you need. The showers on the other hand are a bit annoying: they are clearly not up to standards there.

The room at Melville Hotel was adequate and the hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was ok - a wider choice of cereal would have been appreciated. All in all it was a clean hotel with friendly staff.

The rooms were small and clean. The breakfast was in the Albion (sister hotel) and it was very cramped! Service was friendly

I was really impressed with the Melville. Not withstanding it is being renovated it was of a really good quality. I stay in London regularly for business and this is my best find yet. Room is small but very comfortable and as a lone female the hotel felt safe with very friendly staff. Very good value for money.
