The Grapevine Hotel was ok. There was friendly service, and reasonable breakfast. The room was well decorated. I think it could do with a better clean, but I would stay again.

The Grapevine is a basic, backpacker level hotel. You gets what you pay for. Very small rooms, but clean bedding and it is in a good location. I use it fairly regularly because it well situated, friendly and value for money as long as you don't mind it being a bit down at heel.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Grapevine Hotel. I found the reception staff pleasant and helpful. The room was small but clean and tidy with fresh towels daily. There are a lot of narrow staircases, but of course these regency style houses were once peoples homes. Great location and fair priced for the area, nice pub over the road for dinner. The breakfast was basic but the staff were always cheery. So all in all happy with the booking

Ok for the money, broken coffee pot spilled coffee everywhere for 4 of my 5 days there. My room wasn't locked after cleaning. No remote and had to push buttons forward to recycle through. No light in the bathroom
