Very good value. A nice big room, with wc, bath and shower room and full kitchen facilities close by. On arrival my bedside lamp was not working. I took it down to reception, and a very pleasant receptionist changed it immediately. I also noted a few other things not working - the bathroom closest to me was locked throughout, presumably out of order. The next one lacked a plug for the bath, but the third one was fine, and always available when I wanted it. The big TV in the big common room / lounge seemed to be out of order, or I couldn't get it to work. As others have commented, the carpet on the stairs is very tired. But against that, nice big room, lovely oldish building, wonderful neighbourhood, with Tesco Express and pubs around the corner, and probably best deal in London. I would certainly come again

The location of the halls is excellent. Nice area and handy for centre of London. The accomodation is typical halls fare, but clean and comfortable. Large hill up from Archway tube, but loads of greasy spoon cafes near the tube station

Adequate accommodation for short stay. Seemed to be sharing a bathroom with only one other guest, which was good. Kitchen facilities very good. Wifi connection excellent. Bedroom furniture basic but practical, though bed/pillow quite uncomfortable. Room was next to service staff, so a bit difficult to sleep in, due to noise. Location good - easy bus/underground links

Fairly basic but clean. Pretty centrally located. A good place to stay in London if you're on a budget
