Located less than 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross and St. Pancras stations, the Crestfield Hotel is a convenient place to stay overnight before travelling by Eurostar. Staff are pleasant; the room (single) was clean and quiet (being in the annexe, away from the street); and the breakfast was good. Drawbacks: the washbasin was located in the shower, with no shelf for toothbrush glass (real glass, so potential hazard and scheduled for improvement, I was told. Also, the door was halfway up a narrow, curved stairway, so difficult access for a woman with a heavy suitcase

We chose this hotel in London as it is walking distance to Euston for the next days journey. The room was not too fancy but is clean and quiet, have a good hot shower as well. stuff are friendly. The breakfast is plenty. so I think this is good price and service for this location

Very good low budget hotel in London. I stayed for a total of 8 nights spread over 3 weeks, and each time was met with extremely friendly service and a very clean room. The rooms are tiny but quite recently refurbished and the sheets were very clean. Wifi was free and worked well, except on my last stay when a phone line had gone down during a blackout and had not been fixed yet- this was, however not the hotel's fault and they offered their main computer for my use if I desperately needed the internet (but there are several free wifi spots 1 minute walk away anyway). There is no lift so not suitable for elderly people, but it is perfectly located, 1 min walk from King's Cross tube station and the international railway station, and gives excellent value for money for a London hotel. I will definitely book Crestfield Hotel again next time

The bedroom I was in due I believe to be updated had an odd arrangement with the toilet beyond the shower which could mean that the access to the toilet would be over a wet floor that of course could be slippery. There was no grab handle anywhere and the step up into the shower was quite high - okay when dry but not when wet
