On arrival we were pleased at the location of the Chelsea House, very near to local restaurants, cafes and pubs. Also a stones throw away from Earls Court Exhibition Centre. The building itself could do with a touch of paint here and there but overall a nice enough place. When we booked in we discovered the shower did not work so we informed the receptionist who promised to get it fixed. We went out to look around the local area and to grab something to eat before our night out. When we returned to our room we discovered the shower still hadn't been fixed and once again mentioned it to the receptionist who promised to get it fixed. This never happened, very disappointed.

Chelsea House Hotel was very clean the bedding and towels spotless, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served very quickly. As a whole I couldn't fault anything maybe a plug in the wash basin but managed fine

For a 2 star London hotel this was good. The room was basic but had what was needed and I was only staying 1 night. I had an ensuite bathroom with free shampoo and shower gel and there was tea and coffee in the room but unfortunately the TV didn't work. Breakfast was just cereals and toast but this was clearly stated at time of booking. Hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Earls Court Underground. For London this is cheap and in the past I have paid more for places no better than this. It is good value for money and I would book Chelsea House Hotel again

This is by far the best hotel in London I have stayed at in that price range. Excellent location, close to the tube station and in a nice area with plenty of bars, pubs and supermarkets, yet located in a residential street. Ten mins walk to the Easybus pick-up and drop-off points. I got a room on the top floor which was quite big and also had a pleasant view. I particularly appreciated the tea and coffee-making facilities. I will definitely go back next time I fly to London

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I thought the room was very dirty and the breakfast was basic. On a positive, the bed was comfortable, the sheets & towels were clean and the shower was good.
